Easy Iced Coffee Recipe
This is the easiest iced coffee recipe when you want to keep it simple. Don’t overthink it!
Iced coffee is a refreshing and delicious drink that can be enjoyed all year round. It’s especially great on hot summer days, when a hot cup of coffee just doesn’t hit the spot. If you’re new to making iced coffee at home, don’t worry – it’s actually very easy!
How to make iced coffee
Here’s the easiest way to make iced coffee:
- Start with cold coffee. You can either brew a batch of coffee and refrigerate it, or use leftover coffee from the previous day. It’s important to use cold coffee because hot coffee will melt the ice and dilute the flavor of the drink. However, if you’re in a rush, you can use freshly brewed coffee before it cools of entirely.
- Fill a glass with ice. You can use any type of ice, but cubes work best because they won’t dilute the coffee as quickly as crushed ice will.
- Pour the cold coffee over the ice. You can use as much or as little coffee as you like, depending on your personal preference.
- Add milk, cream, sugar, or other sweeteners to your iced coffee. Feel free to experiment and find the combination that you like best. Personally, I add 1/4 cup of oat or almond milk.
Stir and enjoy! Make sure that all of the ingredients are mixed together. Take a sip and adjust the sweetness or other flavors to your liking.
That’s it – you now have a delicious and refreshing iced coffee! You can enjoy it as is or add whipped cream on top for a special treat. Enjoy!
